Carol Bradshaw joined Suntex in December of 2017 to take on the challenge to design and implement a REIT-compliant structure. Prior to Suntex Carol worked with Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., a publicly traded 140 year old company, to make a REIT election. From 2007-2016 Carol served as VP and SVP over US Tax for the global retail REIT Westfield Group (now Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield) where she worked through the challenges of structuring to be REIT-compliant and living within those parameters. She subsequently began a niche consulting practice focused on the REIT industry. A Certified Public Accountant, Carol received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also an outside author for Thomson Reuters’ online professional training platform.
