David Filler
Investments Partner – Florida & S.E. Regions
As a Partner and Head of Investments for Florida and the Southeast at Suntex, David Filler has more than 25 years experience in the practice of law, 15 years in real estate acquisitions and development, and almost 12 years with Suntex or its predecessor entities. He has participated in approximately $1B in transactions. David has played an instrumental role in the underwriting and acquisition for a large portion of Suntex’s existing portfolio and a majority in Florida and throughout the Southeast. In addition to his acquisition and business development duties, David is also responsible for all major development activity in Florida, representing north of $500MM in assets and soon to be $1B projects in process. With the asset management duties, David oversees all scale redevelopment for the Florida assets representing north of $100M in new construction in process. David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin. David resides in Miami with his wife and two children.
