Clean and Resilient Marinas
Suntex is a nationwide leader in AMI’s Clean and Resilient Marina certification program. This initiative is designed to promote environmental stewardship and sustainability within the marina industry. This program provides a comprehensive framework for marinas to implement best practices that protect and preserve our waterways while ensuring their facilities are resilient against environmental challenges.
By participating in the Clean and Resilient Marina Program, marinas commit to adopting eco-friendly operations, including waste management, pollution prevention, and energy efficiency. The program also emphasizes preparedness for natural disasters and climate change, helping marinas develop strategies to withstand and recover from adverse weather events. Through education, certification, and continuous improvement, the AMI Clean and Resilient Marina Program fosters a culture of responsibility and care, ensuring that marinas not only meet but exceed environmental standards, safeguarding our aquatic ecosystems for future generations.
Folds of Honor Foundation
One example is the nationwide campaign for our primary beneficiary, the Folds of Honor foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, whose mission is providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our great nation. Suntex is passionate in our efforts to raise funds and awareness for Folds of Honor, and our marinas are always proud to host donation and fundraising events.
